amazon.com is a very famous canadian website that makes book reviews and critisizes the books from all over the world. I read today that the publishers of the website are very upset .why??
they descovered manupolating in the section of readers' opinions at the website. that section was devoted to the readers to show their evaluations to the books they have read and what did they like and what they didn't. many writers and authors of these books registered themselves with false names to write wrong and misleading information about the book. the publisheres of the website decided that each and everyone that wants to paricipate to this section has to submit his real name and many personal data information so that they make sure of his id. by this way the author can't say too much good things about his work and his enemies won't be able to do the opposite .or at least that what the publishers think it will happen.

I have read some thing interesting today in Al- Ahram newspaper Egypt's first newspaper. It was an article written by Dr. Hazem El beblawy who is a famous Egyptian economist and thinker. He was talking about Politics and Culture and the relation ship between them.
The French guy I mean is Auguste Mariette the first manger of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo in the sixties and seventies of the 18th century. He was so proud of the Egyptian History that he refused the policy of Ismail Basha the ruler of Egypt this time (he was ottoman- Turk) because he was always dedicating antique pieces to the visitors and kings of the world as honoring them!!!!!
Can u imagine that? Our history is given as gifts and souvenirs.
When Mariette found a very ancient and wonderful jewelry in a tomb which was a Nicolas with the holy Egyptian beetle in it, he showed it to Ismail who wasn't very interested. One of his mistresses liked it and Ismail gave it to her! Mariette went crazy and he started thinking about the precious piece .u know what he did.
He sent one of his assistants to the woman to worn her that the piece is cursed and it's going to hurt her very bad. Of course she gave it back to Mariette who put to the museum again.
But it didn't end. Ogeny the queen of France and wife of Napoleon 3rd was visiting Egypt in 1869 and she saw the same wonderful piece .of course she wanted it and Ismail said that she can take it. Mariette (as the author says )looked angry like burning hell to ismail . Ismail said that she can take it after the approval of the Egyptian government .Napoleon 3rd said and who represents it. Mariette replied that he does as being the manger of the Egyptian museum and Egypt's fortune of history is not for sale or dedication.
Ogeny tried to brive him more than once but the French honest guy refused to accept all the temptations and said no way.

We were all sad when Taliban tried to destroy the Buda's 2 statues in Afganistan and when the Bam Iranian city was destroyed because of the earth quake .u don't have to belong to certain civilization to care for it .HISTORY BELONGS TO HUMANITY.
